Introduction:
ISQSH Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) is a healthcare professional who understands the principles and practices ofj safety in healthcare. Examination:
ISQSH Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) Certification Exam consists of 100 Questions, 2 hours; Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to assess the candidate’s understanding of the CHSP Body of Knowledge. Candidates have to score minimum 70% to pass the Examination.

Candidate Eligibility Requirements:
ISQSH Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) requires a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare or allied subjects. Candidates who are currently pursuing a healthcare or allied Bachelor’s degree may also apply for the exam.
(As per Global Industry Classification Standard healthcare industry includes Healthcare services – Hospitals and Clinics, Biomedical industry, Pharmaceuticals industry, Biotechnology and Life Sciences).

Recertification Requirements
ISQSH Certified Healthcare Safety Professional (CHSP) needs to be recertified every 3 years by passing a simple online test available on the ISQSH website covering the entire CHSP Body of Knowledge. The recertification test consists of 50 questions and the passing score on the test will be 70%. In case candidates do not take the recertification within the due date or if they do not pass the recertification test, they need to be certified again by taking the full exam again. The objective is to ensure that the candidate maintains the same proficiency over the years.

Cancellations, Transfers and Refunds:
• Refunds against Cancellation
o Before 24 June 2017: Cancellation Fee of Rs. 2000 deducted, rest of the amount refunded.
o After 24 June 2017: No refunds will be granted
• Transfer of Registration or Change of Nominee
o Before 28 June 2017: Allowed for a fees of Rs. 1000
o After 28 June 2017: Changes not allowed

Nominations:
Organizations are welcome to nominate their team members for the event. A separate Nomination form has to be submitted along with the Registration Form for the same. If 5 or more team members are nominated, the organization will get a benefit of 10% on the total amount.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on Friday, 12th May 2017  between Saveetha University's Saveetha School of Engineering and Chennai`s well known training institution and solution provider - TwinTech Academy Business Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd.


The two collaborating institutions would pool in the expertise and experience in their respective areas to enhance the quality of the management programs being offered and make it more beneficial to the students in Saveetha School of Engineering which is one of the finest institutions in the world with a unique curriculum that is a spectacular fusion of the best practices of the east and west.

The objectives of the MoU are to actively take part in Student Internships program, Career-Centric Skills Enhancement Program (C-SEP), Faculty development Programs, participate in Saveetha`s Expert Committee to offer best possible solutions for the courses and also jointly organize seminars, Continuing Education programs in various healthcare and management areas.

A high power seminar on the critical role of technology in effective health care delivery marks high point in ‘Technology Day’ celebrations in city

Saveetha Dental College`s dept of Pharmacology joined hands with Twin Tech Academy the leading Management Consultancy and Teaching and Training institution committed to dissemination of knowledge for the common good, to conduct a seminar on Information and communications technology in Healthcare on the 11th May 2017 at its campus on the occasion of ‘National Technology Day’.

Shri A Mahalingam an academician & healthcare administrator par excellence and Managing Director of TwinTech Academy Business Management Solutions Pvt. Ltd inaugurated the seminar and briefed the audience about his institution and underlined the significance of ‘National Technology Day’ in an age when every facet of human endeavour and activity is dependent on technology.

He emphasized that suitable technology adoption is a must and would ensure that medical care is affordable to all and at the same time ensuring that there is no compromise in its quality and speed of delivery which results in the complete delight of the patient. He highlighted that such technology adoption and implementation in terms of new state-of-the-art medical equipment is an integral part of medical delivery.

The objective of the seminar was to deliberate on typical questions raised in the context of deploying adequate technology in the modern healthcare delivery process. Prof T. Ramanan M. SC. IT and MBA Technology Management – a seasoned and multi-faceted professional who brings with him an expertise on diverse areas and subjects like Information Technology, leveraging the same effectively in various industries, product development in satellite industry, IT support, training and business development met this objective in his own inimitable way.

The Session presented an in depth picture of how Information & Communication Technology has seamlessly blended into the Healthcare Delivery process and how it has simplified the access and update of Medical Record of the patient from anywhere/anytime.

Mr Ramanan spoke in detail on the deployment of ICT in various areas of Healthcare, like Quality Medical Service Delivery, technology enabled onsite/offline Education methodologies; the Clinical Decision Support Systems to supplement the diagnosis process and in Tele medicine to reach out Medical Care to the door step of the rural Poor.

The professionalism, commitment and eye for detail in organizing the event exhibited by Organizing Secretary/ Assistant Professor of Pharmacology, Prof  T Lakshmi was very evident at every stage of the event. Ms Anitha Roy, Asst Prof, Dr D Ezhilarasan Senior Lecturer of Pharmacology and over 100 delegates from various institutions attended this unique seminar.

The high power seminar was extremely well received by the participants and drew rich appreciation from both participants and speakers alike.

TwinTech Academy Business Management, Chennai Conducted a Session on Effective Service Delivery on 13th May 2017.

The session was very lively and interactive with a good number of participants contributing to the content of the session with their comments and personal experiences in their sphere of work.

The concept of customer service, profit chain and the benefits that would accrue to the organization when excellent customer care is rendered on were highlighted. Referrals, Positive word of mouth, standing apart from the competition and increase in revenues were discussed.

Videos were shown on handling different types of customers such as an angry customer, impatient customer and Passive customer.

Further a couple of short videos on bad customer service were screened and the participants were asked to comment on the deficiencies that they observed on the delivery of service. The golden rules of customer service were discussed. It was felt by all the participants that given the intensity of the competition prevailing in the health care sector, in addition to quality of care, the service levels are very important to drive patient footfall and if there are inadequacies in this area it will clearly reflect on the growth of the hospital.

All the participants were very happy with the quality of the session. The facilitator of the session asked the participants about their impressions on the session as they were his customers. All the participants gave an excellent feedback on the session and opined that they were delighted customers at the end of the session.

The session was conducted by highly qualified and experience professionals like Mr Murali Subramanian, professor of healthcare marketing, Indian Institute of Knowledge Management (IIKM) and Visiting Management faculty to many B Schools and he also faculty for TwinTech Academy programs.
